Q1. What information is transmitted by the GPS tracking unit PT102B? ----- Each unit could record the following data: date & time, Location info(longitude and latitude), google map lin location,speed,direction and so on. |

Q2. What's the battery life for PT102B GPS tracker? ----- Practically one battery will last around 8-14 hours while using the continuous tracking mode. If you just need it send you the location when you send SMS to it.Then you could keep it under SMS working mode,then the battery will last more time. Please pay attention, the battery life depends on many factores. (Eg. GPS/GSM signal strength, maximum number of information the tracker is sending to the server, and so on.) |

Q3. Can i configure the GPS tracker directly from a PC? ----- Yes, you can, in the package have included one USB cable; |

Q4. How much data does the GPS tracker consumers each month? ----- Considering you use the gps tracker for 24hours continuous tracking (each 30seconds)on GPRS mode, it will cost around 50-100MB data.(Subjection to data rounding by your GSM service provider). |

Q5. Is it possible to receive the detailed location street address in SMS rather than geo - coordinates? ----- Yes,if you send an SMS command: address123456 to the tracker, it will reply with the real-time street address. (123456 is the default password,if you modify the device password,remember to modify the SMS command also). Please note: the default operational mode is SMS. You have to change the operation mode from SMS mode to GPRS mode,them combine the GPS tracker to the web tracking platform successfully. |

Q6. How to set tracking mode to GPRS? ----- Set APN:apn123456apn name (if your apn is xxxxx,then the right command is : apn123456xxxxx) Set GPRS: gprs123456 |

Q7. Should i active data service on my SIM card? ----- Yes,of course.Data service must be active on your SIM card. Look,an ordinary GPS tracker device don't have a pre-loaded map inside, so it should access the google map server to convert the geo-coordiantes into street address. |

Q8. What's my SIM card APN? ----- Please try to search at google: world apn list, then find out your SIM card telecom company,finally,get the right APN. If can't,pls call to your telecom company. |
